Oops. The term conforme does not conform with standard business English. Why? Because it’s Spanish, not English (see Merriam-Webster Spanish Dictionary).

It’s a common term in Filipino business English perhaps because many of our local languages incorporate Spanish terms. (And some of us took up 12 units of Spanish in college—a fact that carbon dates me and my generation!)

Should we use it? Why not? But perhaps only if we’re sure our reader understands the term.
